2.) Use the drawsheet to pull the patient on their side.

3.) Place the Turnwedge™ behind the patient’s back, between the shoulders and the lower back.

Note: Do not put a cover over the Turnwedge™. Doing so will cause the Turnwedge™ to lose its non-skid surface. For best Results, always place the Turnwedge™ between the drawsheet and the sheet covering the mattress.

TO DETERMINE THE ANGLE OF TURN

4.) Place the Rotational Positioning Gauge (RPG) on the patient’s sternum,
the RPG facing the patient’s face.

5.) Adjust the Turnwedge™ to the desired angle of turn by putting it further in or
pulling it outwards
